So, ladies, what did you purchase for yourself this year? Did you spoil yourself or your loved ones? Me? I don’t always buy expensive things but there are just things I splurge on. And this year is no exception.
I have things that I splurge on this year (okay, not including our house and car). And I rounded up the best thing or two that I splurge on this year per category and all under $500.
Everything here is my personal opinion and I’m no expert. Just an avid user! 😉

THINGS I SPLURGE ON
HOME
DYSON Pure Hot + Cool™ Purifying Heater + Fan
I love my Dyson 3-in-1 Fan. It is literally heaven-sent for me. I bought the small one on sale under $500 at our local military exchange and I tell you, one of the best purchases ever. Perfect for our bedroom. It’s gives off cool or hot air, depending on your preference. Its heater can be adjusted by temperature so you can keep your room at 70F.
And the air purifier factor is amazing especially for someone with lots of allergies and sensitivity like me. Air Multiplier™ technology creates 77 gallons of airflow per second for an uninterrupted stream of purified air, amplified and circulated in a 400-square-foot room. But if you have a bigger room, I suggest getting the bigger size (this one) for better performance. One thing I also like it it has a remote control, has an app that you can control on your phone, and can be connected to Alexa or Siri.
Nespresso Vertuo with Aeroccino Milk Frother by De’Longhi
This is perfect for coffee lovers like me and my husband. We already have our good ‘ol Keurig But after visiting our cousins in Las Vegas and trying this Nespresso for the first time, we never looked back. Coffee is some of the things I splurge on. (Hello Starbucks!) I was surprised this is under $500.
So, we purchased one on our way back and it was delivered to our doorstep just in time for us. It’s very rich and countertop-friendly. Our welcome kit came with a variety of VertuoLine capsules, each with varying intensities and taste profiles. And my favorite part is the Aeroccino 3 milk frother! It creates a smooth, finely textured hot or cold fresh milk froth
FASHION
Golden Goose Super-Star Low Top Sneaker
This one is tough. I don’t really shop expensive shoes but this sneakers just called my name! I need something I can wear everyday, of great quality, and of course, something that share my vibes. And this is it. There were tons of designs to choose from but I like the classic white with silver touch. Can be paired with anything!
Gucci GG Logo Leather Belt
Okay, this one I did not buy; my husband did. But I’m so glad he did. This is such a classic piece I can wear with anything. One of the best things I splurge on this year!
BEAUTY
Dyson – Airwrap Volume + Shape Styler
I never knew I’d love a hair tool as much as I love my Airwrap. It’s a complete package to dry and style my hair every day without worrying about damage and breakage. I fell in love with how it attracts and wraps my hair with just air. Ah, the things I splurge on! They also have a straightener, which I might consider too 😉
Jo Malone Peony & Blush Suede Cologne
This perfume is the epitome of what Jo Malone envisioned her perfume to be– “creating a unique character that breathes on its own, with a heartbeat, soul and personality.”
Also available in Body and Hand Lotion, Candle, and Body Creme. Basically, anything Jo Malone, sign me up. Hands-down one of my best things I splurge on!

THINGS I SPLURGE ON FOR MY KID
Nintendo Switch
Finally, I pulled the trigger on this when I saw it on sale last Black Friday. I say it’s for my kid, but hey, let’s face it, it’s for the whole family. My order for the extra controller is on the way now! Mario Kart, here we play!
It’s okay to indulge here and there especially if it’s worth is. For me, these are the things I splurge on and they are amazing buys. And I’m just glad I purchased them. What about you, what are the things you splurged on?
