Personal, Sophisticated, and Everything in Between
It feels like having a newborn baby all over again! I’m very overwhelmed with excitement, glee, also very driven with lots of motivation and drive. This is a dream come true. Having this blog is a dream come true!
As I shared in my About Me page, I have always loved fashion, style, and writing. And what’s better way to showcase them all in one – by blogging! I remembered my early 20’s self started a Google personal blog and it became my online journal. I treasured it. And then life happened. I started a Marketing and Sales corporate career, got married, moved to a new country, had a baby, settled in a new state, bought our first house and voila, I forgot about blogging.
So fast forward to 2020. Shelter-in-place order was executed. And after few months, my husband left for deployment. I didn’t know what to do nor how to keep myself very busy. My work-from-home job and my kid doing at-home learning seemed to be not enough. So, I looked for side gigs. I started freelance writing again. Wow, that felt so good! In addition, my good friend slash business partner pushed me to start this blog. I admit, I was kind of hesitant at first. I’m not sure if I can still do it. I don’t know if I have enough courage to wager and take risks anymore. But hey, here I am, venturing and taking chances. I know that it’s a very long shot. But who cares, all that matters is I took my first step and I am one step closer to my dreams.
Now that I have started, I have established some goals not only for myself but also for you, my dear readers. My goal is to provide relevant, quality content and inspirations for your fashion, style, beauty, home, and lifestyle choices. I’m no expert by any mean, I just believe that we can all learn from each other. And my ultimate goal is to inspire you…to empower you! If I can do it, so do you! You have so much courage, talent, beauty, and wisdom to share to the world!
